We skipped a couple of letters so that we could talk a bit about the letter P this week. These alphabet cards are seriously such a wonderful tool. Not just for homeschool as a way to learn about letters and words, but also a way to incorporate scripture into our daily rhythm 🙌🏻🙌🏻 . . . We worked outside on this little project the boys helped Daddy and I gave myself the official job as Forman 😂 I’m soooo glad I talked my husband into adding a light to our wood shed! We finished the day out with painted pumpkins and the first fire of the season. I love Sundays at home with my tribe 🍁
We can see all throughout scripture all the good things God has done for his people. We can memorize verses and different bible stories and know them like the back of our hands, but then fail to see all that he has done for us. All that he is doing right now. God’s work didn’t end with the last word in the Bible. It’s living right now. He’s working right now, in us and for us. David’s giant is our giant Jonah’s Ninevah is our Ninevah and just like them, God is on our side and He has a plan and we can be sure that it’s good! And all at once summer collapsed into fall 🍁 Summer definitely put up a good fight this year, but like all the years before, eventually it just lets go and I’m happily greeting Fall like an old friend. Today is literally glorious, It feels as though all of nature is letting out one long heavy sigh. the skies, air, the trees, myself included.
