Our memory poem this week was titled Sunshine [jenny philips] The sun shines On my toes On my face And on my nose. It kisses the tops Of all the trees Each blade of grass Each buzzing bee. I’m so glad that God above Made warm, sweet light for me. Sweetest, truest poem ever 🙌🏻 thankful for that warm sweet light today ps I think we are moving our bed back in to our master bedroom tomorrow 👏🏻

Friday’s are for Science, History and Art Study. Right now we are learning about water and our world, Daniel Boone, and we’re going to start studying birds and artwork by John James Audobon. Happy [almost] weekend friends. We made it! What are you up to today?

Woke up to snow stuck to the window screens and icicles strung up in the trees. As the sun came up they began to shimmer like diamonds in the light. There truly is magic in every season!

The urge to get in here and decorate is something fierce right now. I polled y’all the other day about this shelf. if you remember its the same one that was in our kitchen that came crashing down in the middle of the night. Today’s Agenda in Homeschool Morning Circle Time: Weather Song, fill our bird feeders...the squirrels ate most of the seeds this weekend. 🙄 Introduce a new poem and continue reading The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Followed by Language Arts and Math...and say a little prayer for us, I’ve been putting off our creative writing assignment from last week that I don’t think I can put it off anymore [my son just isn’t a fan of writing] so we struggle a little to get these assignments done. 😬 . . . Homemaking Agenda try to move the furniture that’s smushed up in my son’s room so I can get to my dresser drawers! and if that fails I’ll just sit here and admire my pretty flowers some more.
