Dining Room Update [One Room Challenge]

Morning friends!! Sorry it’s been a little quiet around here…I’ve been working on what feels like all.the.things! Plus we’ve finally had some beautiful spring  summer weather! And I’ve been enjoying the time outside with my boys! Funny how it can go from freezing to sweltering literally overnight.

We’ve come to a bit of a standstill in our dining room. We finished all of the painting…minus the interior of the corner cabinet.

Still on the agenda…and we are quickly running out of time..but thankfully  I think all of the hard work is behind us. Just need a couple of finishing touches.

• Replace the outlets and covers.
• Possibly install a ceiling medallion…if we can find one we actually like…some are either too basic or too ornate!
• We also need to install our radiators. We removed them to spray paint them.
• I’m still trying to talk my husband into an area rug…but he’s not digging the idea. Mainly because it our only eating area and well because….boys…I probably don’t need to elaborate but just incase…they are messy and some days I swear they drop more food on the floor than they actually get in their mouths…
