Can you believe that November is already here? That Christmas is only 7 weeks away. As I sit here typing this I’m looking out of my [new] windows watching the leaves flutter to the ground. Knowing they will soon leave the trees bare and before long the anticipation of snow will leave my boys giddy with excitement. I’ll be greeting winter like an old friend. Openly and with a warm heart. The older I become the more I look forward to the slowness of winter. The quiet stillness is refreshing.
Speaking of new windows my husband installed a few more this weekend in our living room and dining room. I’ve said it before, it really is like looking out of a new pair of glasses.
We also decided to participate in Trick or Treating this year. It was our first year to dress up and watch the kids go door to door. They absolutely loved it and we were thankful to join family Halloween night and spend some time together with all of our kiddos.
We also spent some time rolling our own beeswax tapers and my little llama was so good at it.
My little guy and I spent a day of adventuring, running errands and walking around outside. He is always excited to come across some animals on our little outings.
We also started our first book for my new book club series. A Heart Like His. I’m loving it so far and have really felt encouraged by it’s truth. If you want to know more about the book club you can read about it here and you can purchase your own copy on Amazon [I’ll post the link below]
Friday was so good to us, while running errands I grabbed my first Starbucks holiday cup! Don’t you guys just love the design this year? Also my new Jord watch was a welcomed treat. I’ve teamed up with Jord this holiday season. They make gorgeous and unique wood watches and this wood loving girl was so excited to receive this beauty in the mail. If you want to redeem a 25% off coupon just head here.
Looking to this week ahead…
