A Heart Like His [November Book Club]

Processed with VSCO with a6 presetKing David’s story has always intrigued me. He’s said to be a man after God’s own heart. Despite everything David went through, everything he did, above all else he knew what he needed the most; God. To feel his presence, in intimate worship. A sinner just like you and I, a young shepherd boy turned king, a man that God would use in a mighty way. When I saw this book by Beth Moore I just knew I wanted it to be the first book in my new book club series. I hope you’ll take this little journey with me into the life of David. My prayer is that together we can grow in wisdom and faith as we draw nearer to God through this book.

So here is how I’m thinking this little book club will work.

We will take the entire month of November to read this book [starting on November 1st]. It’s about 282 pages which averages to about 9.5 pages a day. Every Friday I’ll share a short newsletter here on the blog going over what we’ve read that week and have a little discussion with questions and thoughts that may have come up while reading. I’ll likely be sharing some thoughts through IG and my stories as well. If you’d like to join in with the discussion and receive the weekly newsletter than be sure to subscribe to the blog so you receive updates for my blog posts. In the future, if our little book club grows I may decide to send out separate newsletter emails. But, for now I think it’ll be easier for everyone to do it this way. I’m so excited to start this little adventure and can’t wait to dive into this book with all of you!

Blessings,

Bree xx
