Hey there buddies!! Wow it’s been a while since I’ve blogged! Life has been busy at the new house as we’ve slowly started fixing things up and putting our own stamp on our home. You can see what we’ve been up to on Instagram here.
Since moving I’ve really been trying to live more simply. I always considered our home and lifestyle pretty simplistic but now more than ever I’m really striving for simplicity in all areas of my life. Not only have I trimmed away at our home decor but I’ve been working on my wardrobe as well. Over the years I’ve been trying to be more selective with what I bring into my closet but a few friends from Instagram have inspired me to take it a step further and create a capsule wardrobe for myself. Now while I’m no where near being an expert I thought it’d be fun to share my little journey with you. We can learn together, how about that? So say Hello to my new series titled, Fashion Friday
Every Friday I’ll be sharing something relating to fashion. So, I hope you’ll stick around and check in weekly to read! If you’re interested in that kind of thing, of course 😉
Eventually I’m hoping I can share all the steps I took to achieve my very own capsule but for today, I thought it would be fun to share one of my favorite items that I’ve recently added! I’ll also be sharing links to the same or similar items incase you’re interested in grabbing them for yourself! Because I’m not super prepared for this weeks post I don’t have the best picture to share with you, but as the weeks go on I’m hoping I can hire my husband to take some pictures so the items I share with you are are easier to see!
This dress is originally from Target that I actually found at Goodwill recently. It was brand new when I bought it so I had hoped it may still be in stock online but sadly it wasn’t. So I’ve rounded up several similar styles for you today. I paired this dress with my fav sandals from Target you can find those here
I love dresses that are light and airy. These styles can be dressed up a little but they’re perfect for casual spring/summer days and the best part is I can still likely wear it in the fall, maybe with some leggings or a jean jacket. Versatility is essential when it comes to capsules! I’ve linked the dresses below! I hope y’all are excited for this new series! Hopefully you find it helpful and fun!
Have a great weekend! ❤
You can also find these items in my SHOP MY INSTAGRAM page located at the top of this webpage!
