Life Lately + Things I’m Lovin’ + Goals

You guys!! I’ve missed you! I’m sorry for the radio silence. We have been battling sickness here. It was one thing right after the other… colds, then the actual legit flu (which was completely awful. I thought I may actually die) Fever of almost 105, chills, exhaustion, body aches, vomiting..it was ridiculous! Then the good ole’ stomach bug hit us. But we are all on the mend feeling much better. I’m praying for a break, for continued health and protection from anymore viruses.

I thought it would be fun to share a little bit of what we’ve been up to lately…besides all the sickness haha. Plus I’ll be sharing some fav things with you and my goals for the coming week! Now that we’ve been feeling better I’m trying to get back into meal prepping and planning. One of my favorite prep meals are roasted veggies. There are countless possibilities but, I really love sweet potatoes and broccoli and those two are my go to. Roasting on a cookie sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on some sea salt and pepper bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes! Simply delicious!

I’ve also been trying some new things as well as continuing to be as healthy as possible. I’ve started taking a daily probiotic, drinking Apple Cider Vinegar daily, and once a week I’ve been applying a detox mask with Activated Charcoal, Tea Tree Oil and Coconut oil. I’m definitely seeing an improvement in my skin tone so I’m going to continue doing it! I’m also throwing around the idea of doing Whole30 so if you have any tips or advice I’m all ears!!

My sweet hubby surprised me with pink roses for Valentines Day. With all the stress from the last several weeks it sure did make me feel so loved! I sure am blessed to have him as my best friend and husband!

We finally made it out into a public setting again after several weeks of being holed up at home. Benjamin and I made a run to Target for some storage containers and Starbucks so I treated myself to the new Cascara Latte and it was ah.maz.ing!! Definitely my new favorite! And I was so excited to find the new Magnolia Journal!!

I have some exciting things coming up soon and I can’t wait to share it all with you! For now I’m happy to share my goals for the week ahead.

Do:

Meal Prep, Take a trip to the Library, Start Spring cleaning. Make some soup to freeze. Make a loaf of bread. List some items for sale on my local FB yard sale page.

Read:

I’m currently reading All The Light We Cannot See and I’m totally loving it, so I’m planning to continue that. I unfortunately don’t read through books as quickly as I use to but, I’m thankful for any quiet time that I can get throughout the day to read for a bit.
