Happy Sunday, Friends! I really hope you guys had an awesome week. We are all recovering from our latest colds. We all seemed to get it one after the other, so it feels like it’s lasting forever. We just can’t seem to catch a break lately…yeah well, I suppose this is just the season we are in right now and like all seasons, it too shall pass. I’m starting to get use to it and just praying this time next year we will all have super awesome immune systems! The first year of school is no joke in the germ department.
Speaking of germs, I posted a really great all purpose cleaner this past week. You can read about it here.
Actually,I feel like I had a productive week, despite all the sickness, which is pretty exciting. I cleaned up our mud room closet, my craft closet, as well as a couple of my kitchen cabinets. I also made egg and sausage breakfast burritos to freeze and of course we tried them first (my first time ever making them) and they were delicious. Definitely a simple recipe for a quick grab-and-go breakfast. I also made blueberry baked oatmeal and shared the recipe on IG. Its definitely one of my all time favorite things to eat. Especially for simple winter breakfasts.
I made a small dent in the book I’m reading Treasuring Christ when your hands are full.
Though, I didn’t read as much as I would have liked, I am really enjoying it and hope to get a chance to read more this week. There just aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes, haha.
Since we are on the subject of reading, I just ordered a new book and can’t wait to dive into it this week. I will definitely share more once I start reading it.
Benjamin and I had to make a quick stop at Target this week for diapers and wipes and we treated ourselves to some coffee and a cake pop. It was Ben’s first ever cake pop and to say he enjoyed it would be an understatement.
I memorized the verse from James 1:22 that I was hoping to accomplish this week as well.
“Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says.”
“But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,” says the LORD. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33
So that’s a teeny recap of my week. I’d love to hear about your week and all the fun you had. Feel free to leave me some comments below and of course here is this weeks list! (Just incase you missed last week, you can read that here and view and print the free printable!)
