Hello Friends!! I am so excited to be teaming up with some lovely women to bring you another blog hop. This time around we are focusing on our Thanksgiving tables. Y’all there is so much goodness going on with these tables you’re going to love them all! Make sure to head over to their blogs, you can find all the links below!
Today, I’ll be sharing one of two tables, yes you heard me right, I’m sharing two different tablescapes. I wanted to share a more classic “fallish” table with you and also share an amped up version only by changing a couple little details. I’m also going to break everything down for you, where my items are from and how much they cost. The good news for me is I already had 98% of these items. So I encourage you to shop your home first. Use what you have on hand and try to make what you already own work. I’m sure you have plenty of things around your home that you can use to achieve a simple, beautiful table scape! So lets get started!
My first look, I used my normal everyday tablecloth. Then I took a cheap faux garland and laid that across my table. I filled it in with some greenery picks that I purchased from various stores over the years. In a perfect world these would all be fresh greens but it’s still early in the season so I wasn’t able to get any. Closer to Christmas time they will all get changed out with real greens. I did call my local florist to try to get seeded eucalyptus but, there was so way on earth I was paying $20 for one small bunch. So I stuck with faux.
Then I scattered my pumpkins across the greenery. You can make a bigger statement and add in more pumpkins but these are what I had so I made the best of it. Then I added in my candle sticks, once again I used what I had. All the candle sticks you see here I found over the years at Goodwill. Next I set up each place setting. I used my woven chargers from Ikea, layered the gray stripped flour sack towels on top of the chargers. Then my white every day plates. I rolled up flour sack towels to use as napkins and then tied a sprig of fresh rosemary with some string. Thats it y’all, so easy!! Are you ready to be bombarded with a million pictures? Haha! I’d love to hear what you think of my Thanksgiving table. Feel free to leave me a comment below! And make sure to check back later when I share my table scape number 2!
