A Fall House Tour: Dining Room

Happy Monday Friends!

I hope y’all had a great weekend! We had a pretty relaxing one, the boys and I just hung out around the house on Saturday while my husband worked and then yesterday we ran a few errands. The highlight of our weekend was going apple picking at a local orchard. The kids went a little crazy and lets just say we are stocked up on apples for awhile. I think I’ll be making some pies, and apple sauce and still have plenty left for school lunches. Here are some pictures from our apple picking adventure!

I wanted to take some time this week to bring you a little house tour of my dining room all decorated for fall. So if you’re into that kind of thing grab your coffee and join me!

I moved our coffee table into the corner of the dining room, mainly because the boys kept turning it over and using it as a “ship” for their pirate adventures, haha. Now that it’s tucked away a little they don’t bother with it as much. I like it in this spot so I think I’ll leave it here for a bit.

I was playing around with lots of different center pieces. I think I’ve finally settled on one. I’m usually so indecisive and if you know me then you know things don’t usually stay in one place long, haha. So we will see how long this lasts!

I finally decided on this one and I really like the simplicity of it. Plus its natural and rustic and I just love the green with the white. I think it’s perfect for this space!

Here is a full view of what it looks like on a regular day. I moved Minerva (my split leaf) to the other corner and so far she seems to like it there! Fingers crossed!

I may have gone a little crazy and got some more white pumpkins, haha. I have a problem I know. 😉

Not much changed in this corner, just a couple white glass pumpkins from the Target Dollar Spot and I also added some wheat in my bottles for a little extra softness.

I kept my buffet pretty simple as well. I found this great lantern type thing at an antique shop recently for only $10. I love it on top of the cake stand, I filled it with some white pumpkins and I just love the way it all turned out. Add in some painted pumpkins and I think it’s perfectly simple and sweet. I’m not one for deep dark colors, like your traditional fall orange and red. I think it’s gorgeous in other peoples spaces but I just can never seem to get it to work well in my home. So, I really try to stay neutral with light colors. I feel like it really brightens up my home while still staying festive, what do you think?

Thats all I have for you today friends! I hope you’ve found some inspiration here today! Happy Fall and I hope y’all have a great week ❤

Blessings!

Bree
