My Week In Review (Week 1)

Happy Monday Friends and Happy Holy Week.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Every year during Holy Week I like to read through the events leading up to Jesus’s crucifixion. I think spending the time reading through those events is so humbling, so moving, and just so beautiful. The love our Lord has for us, friends…just WOW. It’s hard to even wrap my head around. Praise Him for what he did for me and for you on that cross almost 2000 years ago.

I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend spent with their loved ones! My husband worked this week so we didn’t have as much family time as we normally would, or would have liked. But it was lovely all the same.

I was able to fit in a few craft/DIY projects, I’m excited to share those with you in the weeks to come. I also introduced the boys, mainly my older son to The Chronicles of Narnia. He loved the first movie and I’m so glad. They are definitely one of my favorite book/movie series. I love being able to share things from my childhood with him. It’s like experiencing them for the first time. Anyhoo…

There’s this little thing on Instagram called My Sunday RoundUp. It’s one of my favorite tags. It’s so fun to take a look back at your week, remember all the little things that happened and to be grateful of all life’s beautiful blessings. So I thought it would be fun to share “My Week In Review” on here with all of you!

I’m posting this time on a Monday, but I think going forward I’m going to be posting my weekly review on a Saturday, and probably include a recipe or craft project from that week. So here was the picture I shared on Instagram. image

I’m still swooning over that floral garland I picked up at Target. I love the way it looks hanging over that chalkboard in my kitchen. It brings so much freshness to the space, I’m sure I’ll be leaving it up most of the year. Thankfully I had two gift cards and was able to get it for free!!! That sweet bloom print was a free one that I found here. http://www.itsalwaysautumn.com

My husband had gotten me that beautiful antique typewriter a few years ago for Christmas. It actually works, though it does need a new ribbon, I just haven’t gotten around to getting one yet. Definitely going on my to-do-list

So how was your week? I’d love to hear about it!

Blessings!

❤ Bree
